Editing Your Novel
So, I edited my friend Adam Riemenschneider’s novel Kingdom of Ashes, and sometimes during the course of said editing, I got a little loopy. Here are two awful, grammar-related haiku that were inspired in the course of my edits.
Editing your novel yields haiku:
Already, we’re wracked, with
decimation, caused, by the,
Commapocalypse;
young writer please be
sparing- you might bring about
the And-ageddon!
Adam’s novel is a rebellious look at technology, the control exerted by governments and corporations, and the way people respond to those stresses, all through a scifi/fantasy periscope. He’s a good writer, and the story is one I think needs to be told- check it out if you have the time- better yet, buy a copy. If there are editing issues, that’s my bad.
